How to Scrape TradeIndia Supplier and B2B Lead Data
TradeIndia is one of India's largest B2B marketplaces, which makes it a deep public source of supplier and lead data: company name, city, product, and contact across almost every trade. This guide covers what a supplier listing holds, where that data lives, the challenges of collecting it at scale, and how to turn it into a clean supplier or lead list without babysitting a scraper. The worked example uses a real TradeIndia search.
What data a TradeIndia listing holds
A search results page carries a row per supplier. On a real search for t-shirts, one listing read: the company name (Arvind Industries), the city (Kota), a link to the company profile, and a trust-member stamp. Open a supplier and you also get the product listings, price on request, minimum order quantity, and contact details. For sourcing or lead work the company, city, product, and contact are the fields that matter, and the results page already carries most of them.
Where the data actually lives
TradeIndia serves its listings from an internal JSON API, for example api.tradeindia.com search endpoints, which return supplier records as clean objects with the company name, city, and profile URL rather than only printing them into the page. Product and price detail sit on the supplier and product pages behind the same API. Reading those JSON responses is cleaner than parsing rendered cards, and the profile URL is the stable key you deduplicate on.

TradeIndia shows more to a signed-in session and throttles automated access, so a logged-out scraper sees less and gets limited faster. The same product spans many suppliers and categories, so without deduplication you double-count. Prices are often quoted on request with varying minimum order quantities rather than a single number, so a naive pull mixes units. A scraper that works today can return blanks after an endpoint or layout change, which is why maintenance matters more than the first build.
Turning it into a supplier or lead list
For sourcing or outreach you want one row per supplier, deduplicated on the profile URL, captured per category and city, keeping the company, city, product, price where shown, and contact. Store each run with a date so you can watch new suppliers enter a category over time rather than re-pulling everything each cycle, and keep the fields your workflow actually uses so the sheet stays clean.
Build it yourself or have it delivered
For one category and city, a careful script can get you a sample. At scale the login-gating, the category duplication, the throttling, and the upkeep turn it into a standing maintenance job. Past a couple of categories, a done-for-you feed is usually cheaper than the maintenance. You tell us the categories and cities, and we deliver a clean, deduplicated supplier list and keep it running.
Where each field lives in the response
TradeIndia's search API returns supplier records as clean JSON objects, so knowing the keys is what makes a parse reliable. On a real response each supplier carries co_name (the company), city, profile_url (the link to the supplier page, and the stable key you deduplicate on), and a trust-stamp field for the member badge. The product and price detail sit on the supplier and product pages behind the same API rather than in the search response, so a full record joins the search result to the supplier page. Because the same product spans many categories, anchoring on profile_url rather than the position in any one search is what keeps each supplier counted once.
Step by step: reading a TradeIndia search
TradeIndia serves its supplier listings from an internal JSON API, so the cleanest read is that response rather than the rendered cards. Here it is on a real search for t-shirts, which returned suppliers with a company and city for each.
import requests
# TradeIndia loads its supplier listings from an internal JSON API.
url = "https://api.tradeindia.com/search/search/listing_banner"
params = {"keyword": "t shirts"}
headers = {"User-Agent": "Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64)"}
for s in requests.get(url, params=params, headers=headers).json():
print(s["co_name"], s["city"], s["profile_url"])| Company | Arvind Industries |
|---|---|
| City | Kota |
| Profile | /arvind-industries-38727557/ |
| Trust stamp | Member badge present |
| Category searched | T-shirts |
A sample of the clean data we deliver for one product.
The parse is straightforward. The friction is that TradeIndia shows more to a signed-in session, throttles automated access, and spreads the same product across many categories, so a real collection means handling the session, deduplicating suppliers on the profile URL, and pacing the requests. Contact numbers are business data, so we include or strip them to match how you plan to use the list. We run all of that and hand back a clean supplier list.
